Ann Morgan Graham, M.Ed.

Consultant

Ann is the Director of MS Jumpstart for Young Children for the University of Mississippi as well as an adjunct instructor and supervisor to student teachers. She has a doctorate degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Elementary Education. Prior to her current role, she worked for Barksdale Reading Institute as a Professional Development Coordinator on the Educator Effectiveness team and prior to that taught 3rd and 4th grade ELA for ten years.

Ann Morgan has experience writing and teaching several courses for BRI and enjoys working with teachers in schools by providing Professional Development sessions including BRIs Structured Literacy course. Her greatest teaching qualities are relationships, engaged learning, collaboration with colleagues to improve instruction, a no-nonsense approach to meeting the needs of our most struggling readers, and she speaks "teacher". She's fully in tune with what teachers do, know, and need to know and how they are most receptive.
