Bettina Hilliard has taught reading to English learners in Alexandria, VA for 9 years, and is now working in language assessment to place English learners appropriately. She has a master’s in Teaching ESOL from George Mason University and a master’s in Teaching Reading from the University of Virginia. Bettina is passionate about removing barriers for students to help them succeed. In her spare time she loves to knit and read.
